Welcome to my new website. I am an experienced photographer based in Leigh in Greater Manchester.

I took up photography initially as a hobby back in 2006 and have since developed my skills and experience very quickly. I specialise in glamour, fashion and commercial photography however I have experience of various other fields such as wedding and event photography.

 

A Bit About Me

I lived on the Wirral most of my life but in 2005 I moved to London for a year when I was head hunted for a new job. After a year in that position I moved back north where I took up an old job with Unilever working on the european helpdesk. This job gave me an excellent opportunity to expand my skills and as part of the job I had the chance to travel all over Europe visiting other Unilever offices. Since then I have changed jobs a couple of times and I am now living in Leigh (Greater Manchester) where I work as a training and installation engineer for a financial software company.

My main hobby is photography which allows me to express my creative side. My other main hobby is cars (motor racing, rallying, modifying, etc). I attend various car related shows throughout the year and try to take advantage of the event and get some photoshoots in while I'm there.

My Experience

Since taking up photography in late 2006 I have had the opportunity to work on numerous projects working both in and out of studios. I work mostly with new models starting out in the modelling industry, helping the build a portfolio and breaking into the industry.

I am no stranger to working from peoples own homes and have my own lighting equipment which is easily transported if it is needed. During the summer months however I try to take advantage of the good weather and get plenty of location shoots in.

Working in the IT industry for the last 8 years I have gained numerous skills, one of which being Photoshop. Using photoshop I am able to digitally touch up/alter/enhance/modify photos as and when is needed.
